What is 3DMA?
3DMA is a 3D biomechanical analysis software based on optical motion capture. It features its own motion capture engine and biomechanical modules, each tailored to specific applications. Whether you’re focusing on gait analysis, running analysis, or a specific joint evaluation, there is a 3DMA module designed to meet your needs.

What is 3DMA used for?
3DMA is a 3D optical motion capture and analysis system that accurately captures and analyzes human movements. It has a wide range of applications, from biomechanical research to sports performance analysis and ergonomic studies. It supports clinical rehabilitation processes, provides performance enhancement and injury prevention analyses for athletes, and is also utilized in industrial and ergonomic applications.

How does 3DMA work?
Each module of 3DMA is tailored to specific applications. Whether you’re focusing on gait analysis, running analysis, or evaluating a particular joint, there is a 3DMA module that suits your needs.
Available Modules:
- Human: Offers full-body protocols, protocols for different joints for functional assessments, and physical evaluation protocols (e.g., Star Excursion Balance Test, Landing Error Scoring System).
- Gait: Provides lower-body and full-body protocols based on Helen Hayes, as well as a lower-body protocol based on Rizzoli.
- Running: Offers lower-body running analysis and full-body running analysis.
- Cycling: Includes full-body cycling analysis on a free trainer, full-body cycling analysis on a fixed trainer, and cycling measurements (Road, TT-Aero, and MTB).
- Jump: Analyzes Counter Movement Jump and Squat Jump.
- Golf: Focuses on golf swing analysis.
